ABOUT MEG
I'm Meaghan Reyes, the founder of Mindful. Mindful is the result of nearly twenty years of dedication to education and families. While my undergraduate degree in Child Psychology and Masters in Business allowed me to explore all facets of our education system, from early childhood to elementary thru university, I realized at each developmental stage that the needs of our children were not being met. The system is broken. And all our children deserve more. That's where Mindful comes in.
Our mission is to support and enrich the lives of children and their families by providing mindful, family-centric educational services that nurture a love for learning and foster academic success for students in all learning environments.

Expert Guidance
A growing number of families seek to prioritize quality time with their children, step away from the hustle, and cultivate purpose-driven learning experiences over 8 hours in a classroom. I'm dedicated to helping families embrace a lifestyle focused on what truly matters. Together, we will create meaningful opportunities for growth, connection, and lifelong learning, allowing your child to thrive in their unique journey.

Homeschooling isn't always forever. We can work with your family to develop a "just in case" plan to ease transitioning between homeschooling and traditional school-- incorporating appropriate curriculums and state learning standards.
TUTORING
A Comprehensive Approach. At home or at school.
We offer Reading, Writing, and Mathematics tutoring for elementary students. Our Orton-Gillingham Barton based Literacy Tutoring Sessions provide structured, multi-sensory, and engaging instruction that benefits all learners, including those requiring additional intervention. Our mathematics program is tactile, game-based and relies heavily on Montessori principles and establishing concrete knowledge before progressing to abstract applications. We empower parents with the knowledge and tools to support ongoing literacy and math development at home.

After her son's dyslexia diagnosis, Meg became a Barton Tutor. As an educator, she has witnessed the program's benefits and is eager to offer her tutoring services to children needing additional phonemic support.

The Path to Success
Our enrichment classes foster deep exploration in scientific inquiry, geography, STEM, and literacy for younger students, while our high school offerings focus on business and marketing. In small group settings, students engage in meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity and growth.
