High School Business Ethics
Designed for mature sophomores thru high school seniors, Business Ethics course provides essential insights into ethical principles and their application in professional and business decision-making. This course involves analyzing real-world business cases that address the current global economic, legal, political, and social structures. Through the examination of these cases, students will develop a deeper understanding of how cultural and demographic diversity impacts business interactions and decisions.
The course explores the relationship between personal moral choices and the ethical challenges faced by businesses. Awareness of ethical, legal, and moral challenges in the business world will be raised, aiding in making informed and effective decisions. Tools and strategies for managing ethical behavior will be taught, along with methods for critically evaluating the decisions of business leaders.
Class discussions will encourage deep thinking about complex and difficult problems, rather than always seeking a comfortable consensus. This approach will help students understand the dynamics of ethical business practices and may alter the way they view their own decision-making abilities.
